What is the Special Libraries Association?

The Special Libraries Association (SLA) is an organization that is comprised of special librarians from diverse areas of interest encompassing corporations, private businesses, government agencies, museums, colleges, hospitals, associations information management consulting firms, and more. The SLA provides a means for all of these individuals to communicate and share knowledge with one another through its various list-serves, forums, functions, and other events.

The UWO Student Chapter of SLA meets weekly on the Western University campus. For the Summer 2017 semester, we meet every Wednesday at 4:30pm in the FNB Grad Lounge.
